Welcome to Gray Guardians, a completely original senior citizen retirement home RPG. This rules-light system is approachable to all audiences, whether you have never played an RPG, need a palate cleanser between heavy campaigns, or just want something fun and unique to play.

This is a fully built-out indie game with everything you need to start playing today.

Master the Tone: The Difficulty Dials

Gray Guardians allows the Game Master to calibrate the rules to match the players' preferred experience. You can choose a Preset Track for a quick start, or Mix & Match individual dials to create a tailored experience for your table.

• The Comedy Track (Easy): Relaxed and slapstick. Players have 20 Max Vigor and succeed often (TN 8). Best for new players or groups who want to laugh.
• The Adventure Track (Normal): Balanced and unpredictable. 16 Max Vigor and a TN 10 create a real sense of risk while keeping the humor front and center.
• The Survival Horror Track (Hard): Tense and gritty. Vigor is slashed to 10 and TNs rise to 12. Ties favor the monsters and resources are scarce.

Mix & Match for Your Table:

Don't feel restricted by the presets! You can adjust individual dials—like Vigor, Target Numbers, or Wipe Penalties—on the fly. Whether you want "High Action/High Risk" or a "Narrative Focus," the dials ensure the game always matches the mood of your players.

The Saga: 9 Modular Adventures

From the mysterious "Gravy Boat of Time" to the final "Wrath of the True Elders," this book contains a massive, connected campaign. Encounter unique threats like:
